Aura Convectors: Integrating Performance and Design for Specification
For M&E specifiers prioritising a harmonious blend of efficiency, reliability, and architectural integration, Merriott’s Aura Convector range provides a considered heating solution. Designed to perform optimally in a variety of environments, from expansive glazed commercial areas to residential and public buildings, Aura convectors deliver heat with precision and understated elegance.
Aura Convector Engineered for Optimal Thermal Performance:
- Advanced Heat Exchanger: At the core of the Aura Convector is an aluminium finned copper heat exchanger, engineered for low water content. This design facilitates a rapid response, ensuring quick temperature adjustments and contributing to high system efficiency.
- Targeted Heat Delivery for Glazed Spaces: Aura Comfort models are specifically designed to prevent direct casing heat transfer against glazed surfaces. This approach minimises energy loss, reducing operating costs and enhancing the overall thermal performance of the building.
- Robust and Durable Construction: Manufactured from 1mm or 1.5mm galvanised steel, the convectors are built for longevity. They feature a durable grille in either punched steel or longitudinal duralumin, ensuring resilience in demanding commercial settings.
- Flexible Installation Options: The Aura range offers both floor-mounted and wall-mounted configurations, providing adaptability to various project layouts and design requirements.
- Comprehensive Range of Sizes and Outputs: Available in a wide array of standard sizes, Aura Convectors are capable of meeting diverse heating demands. Heat outputs are rigorously tested to EN 442 standards, assuring consistent performance.
- Aesthetic Integration and Customisation: While designed to blend seamlessly into modern interiors, Aura convectors can also be customised. Beyond the standard white RAL 9016, various RAL colours for casings and components are available to align with specific interior design palettes.
- Reliable Operating Parameters: The convectors are rated for a maximum operating pressure of 10 bar (test pressure of 13 bar) and a maximum operating temperature of 110°C, ensuring robust operation within standard heating system specifications. All connections are G1/2″ internal thread.
The Aura series, encompassing: Aura Slim Comfort, Aura Slim, Aura Comfort, Aura, and Aura Bench, offers a comprehensive selection to address unique project demands. These convectors stand as a testament to considered engineering, providing effective and visually discreet heating, making them a strategic choice for M&E specifications.
